The first of my eleven painting teachers, the one who inspired my passion to draw, was John Stuart Ingle at U of M-Morris. UMM was where I received a Studio Arts major and a Philosophy minor with an independent study Aesthetics. Upon graduation, I didn't feel ready to be a professional artist yet so two years later I began my second schooling at Atelier Lack in Minneapolis. This is where I learned traditional oil painting and drawing techniques in the Classical Realism Style.

I began working for EverGreene Architectural Arts after my completion from the Atelier. The next twenty years saw me switch back and forth between commercial decoration, mural, and fine art painting.

June 2017 included a move to Santa Fe, New Mexico where I am now painting a new chapter in my life.
