Whether standing along a dried up riverbed or atop a windblown mesa, I am often awestruck by the sheer beauty before me. My desire to capture the resonant beauty of this arid land has awakened my imagination like no other place. There is a sense of ancient time and sacred space which I look forward to exploring while painting this sunswept land.
